I'm Bethany, a healing coach with 10 years of therapy experience and a love for baking bread.

There was a moment I realized I wanted more from my healing journey. I was finally out of survival mode, but I ached for something more. I set out on a decade long exploration to find out who I was in addition to a badass survivor. And now I help other women do the same.

Once upon a time, you knew exactly what you needed. As children, we were born with innate self trust. We rested when needed, we asked for what we wanted, we approached each day with presence and curiosity. Somewhere along the way, we learned not to trust ourselves, and we lost connection with our inner wisdom. 

The beauty of the coaching process is not about being told how to live. Coaching creates a safe place to rediscover yourself and the things that really matter to you. It helps you get unstuck by gently guiding you back to yourself.

We'll start by getting back to your core desires. Trauma can quickly downshift the brain into survival mode. And while this is essential for a season, restlessness can signal it is time to say thank you and farewell to this way of being. 

Through one on one coaching, I'll help you reconnect with the things that soothe your weary heart and set your soul on fire.

Let's get to the good part. With your dreams and obstacles clearly defined, I'll help you name your goals and the action steps to get you there. 

I'll share resources I've collected from a decade of experience in the healing industry and help you establish your healing rhythms: the daily, weekly, and seasonal things that make up a life you love.

How is coaching different than therapy?

A therapist helps you heal your past.

A coach helps you create your future.

After my first season of therapy, I felt free. I was no longer plagued by the PTSD that had occupied so much of my mental space. I knew how to be a strong survivor. I needed a guide in the process of finding a beautiful day to day life. 

As a coach, I will not treat or diagnose mental health issues. Though breakthrough and healing are often a part of the coaching process, the focus is not to heal past trauma. Coaching is goal and dream oriented. Clients often work with the same therapist for a long period of time. Coaching is usually done in 3, 6, or 12 week segments.
